My target audience are medium sized and are mostly teenagers. They lead a healthy lifestyle and aren’t seen as a stereotypical ‘yob’ teenager in a hoody that threatens elderly people or challenges others. They are responsible teenagers that break that stereotype and would be looked at in a more psychographic way rather than in a demographic way. This target audience would buy my magazine as it would appeal directly to them and hopefully catch their eye. The product includes topics that interest them and are related to the above audience profile for example I have included a poster of Tinie Tempah in my magazine, this artist is well known in my target audience and they enjoy his music so therefore he is an icon to them. Looking at advertising products in my magazine in order to interest them I would probably look at including a hair product advert as this would be necessary as it would relate to them getting the pop star look or feeling more confident and it appeals to the appropriate age group and gender rather than advertising men’s shaving gel for example as that would apply to the wrong audience.
